Desk Based Account Manager – Salford Quays

This role is primarily responsible for bringing in additional business to Solar by selling additional products to a set of existing customers and also through new appointment generation into our target markets for senior new business sales people.  There will also be a requirement to protect existing revenues by re-signing clients, and building strong relationships through exceptional interpersonal skills and strong industry and product knowledge.

Essential criteria:

  • UC sales experience
  • Wider Solar product set/technology experience
  • Enthusiastic sales individual who is credible and capable of being a trusted advisor to the client
  • The ability to work and exceed set monthly/quarterly/yearly targets
  • Capable of communicating client expectations to the back office and be part of the client experience
  • Ability to self-plan and prioritise
  • Understands how to manage a sales cycle and qualification process
  • Embodiment of Solar’s values – go beyond the call; lead the way; take personal responsibility; do the right thing
